Catchup Requests
For your safety, the first message you receive from another user will automatically be added to your Catchup Requests. You have the choice to accept, decline or block these messages based on your relationship with the other user.
We strongly recommend only accepting message requests from users you know.
Incoming message requests from users you do not know can include:
1. Hate speech
2. Sexually explicit content
3. Terrorism related content
4. Hacked accounts
5. Impersonation accounts
6. Exploitation accounts
7. Underage Children
8. Self-Harm Accounts
We place great emphasis on the safety of our community. We believe that we can all help make our community safe by reporting content/accounts not fit for our service.
If you believe you have been contacted by any of the above accounts, you can report it here.
Replying to Messages
Once you have accepted a message from your Catchup Request, you can reply back to that user by simply typing your message into the text field at the bottom of the screen and tapping send.
This will then automatically move this user into your home screen where you can view your chat logs, send messages and delete the users message.
If you have declined the request, this will simply remove the user from your Catchup Requests. This user will still be able to message you but will end up in your Catchup Requests again. If you would like to stop incoming Catchup Requests from a particular user, you may choose to Block them.
If you have blocked a Catchup Request, the user will be added to your Blocked Users, which can be found in your settings. You will not see any messages from the blocked user until you unblock them.
